The Archons are the leaders of a secretive order of mages devoted to preserving and protecting the flow of magic in Revnia. Masters of pure mana, they understand both its immense potential and the catastrophic consequences of its misuse. Bound by a solemn pact, the Archons exist to ensure that no mortal â nor god â ever becomes too powerful, for such imbalance could unravel the very fabric of the world.
Specialization: Arcane
Special power: Every time the Archon casts a spell, they gain one spell counter.
(These spell counters are never consumed, but the strength of A6, A7 and A8 heavily relies on these spell counters)
1. Arcane Bolt - Arcane Bolt deals 6 damage to the target creature. If the target creature dies, Arcane Bolt can be cast again at full cost. *
2. Enchant - When Enchant is cast, the caster can play an additional spell. That spell deals an additional 50% damage. (Banned combo: Dragon)
3. Concentrated Beam - Concentrated Beam deals 10 damage to the target opponent creature. If the target creature does not die, gain 1 Arcane.
4. Arcane Missile Storm - Arcane Missile Storm deals 8 damage to all opponent's creatures. Each succeeding cast of Arcane Missile Storm reduces its base cost by 1, but at a minimum of 2 base cost.
5. Apprentice Scholar 5/33 - Apprentice Scholar increases its owner's Arcane by 2 every time its owner casts a spell.
6. Spellsword 5/45 - Spellsword increases its attack by 1 for every spell counter the owner has. *
7. Mystic Conjurer 7/33 - When Mystic Conjurer is summoned, it also summons a 6/19 familiar for every 4 spell counter the owner has. When Mystic Conjurer dies, all of its summoned familiars also die. *
8. Master Elementalist 8/40 - When Master Elementalist is summoned, it deals X damage to the opponent and to each of the opponent's creatures, where X is the number of the owner's spell counters times 2.
*Additional Notes:
1. Arcane Bolt can be casted on an ally creature. Arcane Bolt can be recast as many times as long as its target dies, but it is casted at full cost. For example, if you have 6 Arcane and your opponent has 6 creatures that can be killed by Arcane Bolt, you can cast Arcane Bolt again and again until all opponent's creatures are killed, and in this case you will have depleted your Arcane power. The player may also opt to skip the turn instead if they do not wish to spend Arcane power.
6. The attack increase of the spellsword continues even after the spellsword is summoned.
7. The player gets to decide where to place the additional familiars. The familiars are not placed at random slots. Also, if this isn't clear enough, here's a quick guide on how many familiars can be summoned: 4 spell counters, 1 familiar. 8 spell counters, 2 familiars, and so on.
